To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Chang'an University, after careful preparation by all parties, on the morning of October 30, 2020, the first Yanchang Shell Petrol Station Environmental Innovation Design Competition was grandly opened in the Academic Lecture Hall of the Architecture School in Chang'an University Xiaozhai Campus.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Liu Peng, Deputy Party Secretary of School of Architecture.

Li Xianfeng hopes that this innovative design competition can provide assistance for the high-quality development of urbanization and improve the city quality, and wish the school-enterprise strategic cooperation between Chang'an University and Shell Petroleum Co., Ltd. fruitful. Meantime Liu Peng hopes that the participating teams can adhere to the concept of "friendship, communication, unity, and progress" and strive to achieve good results in the competition.
Mr. Zhao Kai, Director of Network Development Division of Yanchang Shell Petroleum Co., Ltd., expressed his good expectations for this competition. Engineering Manager, Zheng Xinge introduced the project. Engineer Zhang Gang and manager Jiang Yongdan interpreted the competition and put forward the key points in the design, such as realizing the maximum value of land and fully considering the utilization of future energy resources. They also interacted with the teachers and students present to answer questions. Participating colleges and universities spoke on behalf of teachers, encouraging participating students to use their professional expertise and use excellent design to improve the living environment.

The competition aims to further enhance the creative design literacy of students in various colleges and universities, cultivate high-quality human settlement design talents, and create a more beautiful and comfortable consumption environment.
