Professor Yang Rui pointed out in his speech that the landscape architecture of Chang'an University collaborates with transportation, land, geology and other dual first-class subject platforms. It has obvious characteristics and unlimited potential. It is an important part of the landscape architecture major in the northwest region in China and has injected freshness into the development of the national landscape architecture major. At the end of the speech, Vice President Zhao Xiangmo and Professor Yang Rui jointly unveiled the plaque for the Department of Landscape Architecture. The guests and more than 400 teachers and students from the whole department witnessed this historic moment.
After the unveiling ceremony, the “Jing School” which are series of academic lectures of Landscape Architecture Department was officially launched. Professor Yang Rui, Deputy Chief Planner Xiangxiru and Professor Wan Min were invited to deliver academic reports entitled "Revolutionary Transformation and Multi-Scale Realization of Biodiversity Conservation", "Water Wisdom • Urban Excellent" and "Theory and Practice of Green Network Cities".

Xiangxi Ru, deputy chief planner, from the perspective of urban form, environment, style, culture, livability and other aspects, explained the application of water system as the most distinctive "second resource" in the aspects of landscape appreciation, natural regulation and storage, climate improvement, ecological balance, tourism and leisure.

Professor Wan Min introduced in detail the huge advantages and development prospects of the green network city from the definition of ideal unit, land use plan, green network classification and indicators, and used the characteristics of Wuhan Chengzhong Village, Yinji Mountain Town, and Huojia County. The town gave a targeted explanation for the case.
Finally, Professor Duan Yuangu made a concluding speech. He pointed out that it is our common mission to promote the development of landscape architecture in Northwest China.
