The 2021 WUPENiCity poster
Recently, the "2021 WUPENiCity Urban Sustainability Research Report International Competition" and the "2021 WUPENiCity Urban Design International Competition" jointly organized by WUPEN, UNESCO iCity website and Guihua magazine have announced the winners. A total of 10 groups of undergraduates from the School of Architecture in Chang'an University won awards, including 5 gold awards, 4 nomination awards, and 1 gold award for research reports. The teachers and students of the School of Architecture of our school achieved excellent results in this international competition.
This international competition has received more than 1,000 entries, and nearly 2,500 students from dozens of universities participated. The review process lasted 3 months, and went through three links of "technical review, preliminary evaluation, and final evaluation”, and 50 Gold Awards and 150 Nomination Awards will be selected in this competition.
The international competition was jointly organized by the World Organization for Planning Education (WUPEN) and UNESCO iCity. Members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, director of the Urban and Rural Planning Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, convener of the Subject Evaluation Group of Urban and Rural Planning of Academic Degrees Committee of The State Council, vice President of Urban Planning Society of China and other famous professors serve as judges of the competition.
